I have updated the pages for each year group so that pupils and parents are able to subscribe to new posts. You will spot a new option to subscribe to posts in the column on the right hand side of the 'homework' page for your year group. Subscribing to this will mean that an e-mail will automatically be sent to your inbox whenever I update the homework page for your class. This e-mail will contain information about the homework including what the task is, when it was set and when it is due for submission. This should help make homework information more accessible to pupils and parents. Any

Come along to the playground at lunch time today to take part in a host of Red Nose Day activities. For a small donation you will have the chance to throw a wet sponge at a teacher of your choice (myself included!). I cannot wait!  

S2 Parents' evening is fast approaching (7th March!). Please make sure that you have your appointment booked as soon as possible. See Mr Arnold if you need to arrange this. 

On Monday those pupils who did not pass the Close Reading NAB will have the opportunity to re-take the paper. It will contain a new set of questions and focus on a new extract however it will be testing you on the same skills as the last paper. This means that you should spend time revising the question types that we have discussed in class. You should be thinking about the different strategies that we use to answer these questions and you should focus on those questions which caused you problems in the previous paper.
